I had a productive meeting with the community Engagement Officer at our City Library/ Gallery. She loved my books and I was shown around a great space called Shared Space.
So as part of their Summer Reading Challenge, I will be hosting an Event and reading from two of my books with performances from our Opera Singer and pianist also- oh, and some puppets!
Phil the Brill Krill seems happy enough - just need to make two more puppets and plan a workshop now!
The Engagement Officer was also interested in my Poetry writing. They will be running an event along the theme of how poetry can help people's mental health. So I was double happy! 😃 😀
