Meetings
Meetings. Yes. A mundane but important part of planning. Tomorrow myself, one of my assistants and our dancer and workshop planner will be meeting Metal. We will be working out various details of our forthcoming workshop and production event which will be outdoors in the warmer climes of April Easter Holidays. So please spread the word. April 20th. Chalkwell park. Time
TBC. We have floodlights and a new character Mrs Ladybird. I have written and composed a song for this character which is titled "Listen (to the Silence). Credit to our younger son at Durham University for the Score which I composed and he committed to paper. The premise is to enhance the important section of th performance where the caterpillar goes into the silence and stillness of his cocoon. It is an important theme of the book and I hope the children will gain more of this from listening to the song.
The workshopping element is being developed by a drama therapist and our professional dancer, Val Herron. Children will have opportunities to not only learn and perform a dance in costumes provided, but also to look at who they are and want to be and work on confidence and self esteem.
Ticketing is being discussed also in this meeting and tickets will go in sale via Eventbrite and other platforms at the end of the month
